Ideology of the EWB Gender Group

The EWB Gender Group begins its journey in May 2016 with a group of volunteers and hired staff from different areas of the entity.

The group is born of the need to have an open service area for the members of the organization, and the need to work transversally from a gender perspective, support to groups in their projects and the internal functioning of the whole entity.

It is structured in three lines of work:

  • Personal Empowerment: open to all persons of the entity, volunteers and hired staff.
  • Gender in the association: gender perspective in the internal functioning of the entity, such as day-to-day, meetings, assemblies, activities, meetings, dissemination, etc.
  • Gender in EWB projects: identification of the gender vision, follow-up, activities with the group, publication of studies, etc.
